Pollinator is a Agricultural monitoring app that integrates data from drones, created as a product design exercise. I also created the logo & all branding.

The Problem: Agriculture has always played a crucial role in sustaining human life, and modern technology has been instrumental in enhancing its efficiency and productivity. Yet, there is a need for innovative solutions to address challenges faced by farmers worldwide. I embarked on designing a drone-enhanced agricultural monitoring mobile app, aiming to empower farmers with real-time data insights for better decision-making.

Traditional farming practices often lack precision and real-time monitoring capabilities, leading to inefficiencies in resource utilization, pest management, and crop yield optimization. Farmers face challenges in accurately assessing crop health, identifying areas requiring intervention, and optimizing resource allocation.

Solution Overview: Our solution involves the development of a mobile application integrated with drone technology to provide farmers with comprehensive insights into their fields. The app utilizes drones equipped with high-resolution cameras and sensors to capture aerial imagery and data, which is then processed and analyzed to generate both crop and pest data.

Feature Prioritization: After consulting with experts in the field, I prioritized features based on user needs, technological feasibility, and agricultural objectives.

– Aerial Imaging: Capture high-resolution aerial images of fields.
– Crop Health Analysis: Identify areas of pest infestation, and general crop health
– Historical trend data for crop health, pest health, and atmospheric conditions
